Student Supervision Requirement

To ensure the safety and support of each student, every participant is required to be accompanied by a parent or a competent adult guardian at all times throughout the trip. This adult companion will be responsible for the student’s well-being, adherence to trip guidelines, and active participation in all scheduled activities.

General Safety Guidelines

   • Each travel group will receive an emergency contact list and meeting points for each destination.
   • Our travel mentors are able to handle emergencies and provide first aid assistance if needed.

2. Health & Medical Safety:

   • Students and their guardians must inform us of any medical conditions, allergies, or medications before travel.
   • It is recommended to carry personal health insurance and necessary prescriptions.
   • A first-aid kit will be available throughout the trip for minor health concerns.

3. Group Travel Protocols:

   • Students and their companions must stay with the group at all times during activities and tours.
   • A buddy system will be encouraged to promote accountability and ensure no one is left behind.
   • Participants must follow the trip itinerary and respect designated meeting times.

4. Transportation Safety:

   • Heroes Trek partners with reputable transportation providers who prioritize passenger safety.
   • Seatbelts must be worn at all times when in transit, and all safety instructions from drivers and guides must be followed.

5. Accommodation Security:

   • Hotels are carefully selected for their safety, security features, and proximity to educational sites.
   • Students and guardians should keep their valuables secure and lock their rooms when unattended.

6. Personal Conduct & Behavior Expectations:

   • Any inappropriate behavior that compromises the safety of the group may result in removal from activities.

7. Communication & Tracking:

   • Guardians must ensure students carry a fully charged mobile phone with them at all times.
